Hi, I’m Dr. Saara—an internationally published researcher in motivation and optimal human performance, and the creator of the 12 Mountains ADHD coaching framework.
After earning my PhD in performance psychology, I took a break from research—and when I returned to it, something felt off. I found myself reading the same paragraph over and over, unable to process what I once could. I panicked. It felt like my brain had stopped working.
A brain scan later, I finally had an answer: ADHD. And suddenly, everything made sense. Of course I had spent over a decade researching motivation—I was unknowingly trying to solve the puzzle of my own brain.
Turns out, my brain wasn’t broken—it was just beautifully different. Since that diagnosis, I’ve been obsessed with helping other women understand their unique ADHD brains and create real change without burnout.
