FAQs
What's included in the program?
Every work day you'll receive a 5-7 minute video to your DPS email address.
4 days are movement based (stretching, strengthening, mobility, cardio, etc) and one video (usually on Wednesdays) is for mental health and we work on the 3 M's (mindset, motivation and/or mindfulness).
What else is included?
Text reminders: If you sign up for text message reminders you'll also receive a text at 2pm with a reminder to do the video of the day.
You can sign up for text message reminders in the form above.
Membership access: If you want another option rather than the video of the day, you'll have access to a membership that is updated weekly with new videos. There are always at least 10 other options in the video library.
Ability to make requests: This program is about YOU!!! So you get to make requests, either via email or within the membership. If you have a sore neck or tight back you can reach out to Dr. Saara to make a specific request.
Homework prizes: On the weekend we often assign "homework"- don't worry it's usually something fun and if you decide to participate you'll be entered into a draw to win a cool prize!
What are MMM days like?
MMM stands for mindset, motivation or mindfulness. We focus on your mental health and work on things like anxiety regulation, overwhelm, or just being present in the current moment to calm down your nervous system. We know work can be stressful, and MMM days are meant to help combat that work stress- MMM days are scheduled for Wednesdays- 2 MMM videos are always available in the membership area.
What if I'm a beginner?
Dr. Saara designed the program to be for ALL levels of fitness, and always includes adaptations for advanced moves.
What type of equipment do I need?
Your body! The program is designed to do at work so no special equipment is needed. Sometimes we use a chair, table or wall, but that information will be included in the daily email, so you'll know if you need anything before you click on the video.
Who can sign up for the program and what does it cost?
All DPS employees are welcome to sign up for the program and it is zero cost to you!
