Even though it was only about 5 minutes a day, I had a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day and even more at the end of 30 days. The follow along made it easy, and her background scenarios changed daily, making it even more fun. The program gave me something to think about in movement every day. While I have a fairly physical job as a hairdresser, I was also moving muscles that I don't usually give any extra attention to or in ways that I don't usually. All of this led to taking on more exercise and movement throughout the week, which was what I wanted!"

Thanks for these videos, Saara! I was out of town with no WiFi for about 2 weeks so I wasn’t able to do them. But the ones I did do were amazing. They really helped during a time when I had some especially bad back pain.
Great idea and simplifies idea of physical activity having to be lengthy to get results.

I thought the way you structured the activities over the course of the week was thoughtful and made sense. I often had the experience of feeling like the exercises were targeting just the right area for the day.
I loved participating while still in the school building! I'm not sure why I couldn't keep the routine going once we were at home. I wish I had, and this reminds me it's not too late! I think it seemed like one more thing to juggle with three bodies working and schooling in a tiny living space, the stress of everyone's work and school zooms, struggling with the emotions of this change, and I didn't prioritize making it part of my new routines. I also struggled to make it become routine when I first signed up, but once I got it established it was easy and really great! So if this continues over the summer I aim to reinstate it into whatever my new summer routine looks like, cuz it was a mood balancer and booster when I participated.

I do get exercise on my own but during the busy work day, it's a wonderful reminder to keep moving. I think the breathing and stretching work is particularly helpful in a school setting because we do deal with a lot of stress. I appreciate getting a very short video every day- it's like going to a class where someone tells me what to work on, and I don't have to decide what exercise I should be doing. And I also know it will be short so I know I can make time for it. I am much more motivated to do a 10 minute video than sign up for an hour class somewhere.
